I began my theater tech career in middle school, but it soared when I became a freshman in high school. Since then, I've been involved in numerous shows, and I'm almost constantly backstage.
As for art, my career as a digital artist began when I was just a child. I received an iPad with an art program on it, and since then, I've been drawing almost every day.
At the end of the day, I don't have a favorite show or art piece. I think that everything that I work on has been a unique (but very positive) experience. Seeing the actors, dancers, and audience members marvel at the final creation is one of the most fulfilling feelings that defines my love of the arts.
I continue to work at my current high school (graduating 2021) and have aspirations to either be an animator or professional production stage manager.
I'm very lucky to have wonderful staff members and peers who continue to teach me many things about each subject that I'm interested in.
During the summer of 2020, I worked as a digital marking intern, in which I assisted with video and audio editing, as well as captioning work for the videos that the marketing team was producing. Video editing consisted of making cuts and inserting transtions and audio editing consisted of balancing levels.
